• The hydration tank compartment is fully insulated with 5mm (0.2-inch) closed-cell foam to help maintain water temperature. Two zippered filler caps provide the option of top or bottom filling points for the hydration tank. External filler allows for easy access to the Crux™ reservoir for convenient ice filling, washing, and refilling. A sealing vent at the bottom of the main compartment allows for drainage of any spilled water during filling.

• Quick-release shoulder straps can be undone for easy removal and storage in internal pockets. The backpack also features an adjustable sternum strap and hook-and-loop strap management.
